About the author
Jim Finks, Jr. is the eldest son of Pro Football Hall of Fame executive Jim Finks, Sr. Finks, Jr. held a variety of administrative positions with professional sports teams in the World Hockey Association, National Hockey League and North American Soccer League. He cites having breakfast with Howard Cosell, being a guest television commentator with baseball broadcaster Harry Caray, and delivering his dad's Pro Football Hall of Fame acceptance speech among his all-time sports highlights. Finks played varsity hockey and earned a BA Degree in Mass Communications on the out post at Bemidji State University (Minnesota). Finks resides in Newport Beach, California.
